Pollution and Autism

Our pollution to our environment has been proven to be a major contributor to the rise of Autism in children in the US.  Scientists now believe that the disorder is caused by genetics, but mainly from products that we use everyday. Anything that contributes to the change in the body’s estrogen is what causes the disorder, pollution by our cars and factories including pesticides. Products like plastic bottles, plastic food packaging, soap, and toothpaste now carry chemicals contributing to genetic alteration. These products all carry chemicals like Bisphenol A and antimicrobials that are main factors to development change.

Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder that has been around for years and continues to rise. In the United States 1 out of 110 children develop Autism. Children with Autism have problems in different areas of development, social interaction, behavior and socialization. The disorder also creates the child to have abnormal immune responses and may even develop Thyroid.

Autism is a very expensive disorder to take care of. Throughout a persons life they will spend about $3.2 million. All this money is spent for behavioral therapy and medication, and both do not even help the Autistic person very much.

Andrian  Angel Olvera, makeup winner found his passion at age 15 and continues today only at age 18. Not being an ordinary person he continues to stay true to his creative style of being different.

Break The Chains of Slavery

Vast networks of workers are lured from Bolivia to Argentina on empty promises. Most endure long and brutal journeys before being sent to work in clandestine clothing factories under oppressive conditions. In Velasquez’s case, she and her husband, with their one-year-old son, crossed the border into Argentina in 2006 using counterfeit documents provided to them by the smugglers. Once in Buenos Aires, Velasquez soon realized the whole scenario was a scam. She was dispatched to a hot, crowded factory and forced to sew 18 hours a day, seven days a week. She says she was rarely allowed outside, and had to sleep in a hallway alongside 20 other workers. For all her work, she made $25 dollars a month.

“Now, in Buenos Aires city there are 3,000 clandestine clothing factories with some 25,000 workers. Nearly 80 percent of the clothing produced in Argentina is made in clandestine factories,” “More people are being brought from Bolivia every day. Not just here to Argentina, they go to Brazil too,” she says. “The reality is that people need the work. And for that work, they have to suffer.”

Mother’s Day Special

Mother
If I could give you diamonds
for each tear you cried for me.
if I could five you sapphires
for each truth you’ve helped me see.
If I could give you rubies
for the heartache that you’ve known
If I could give you pearls
for the wisdom that you’ve shown.
Then you’ll have a treasure, mother,
that would mount up to the skies
That would almost match
the sparkle in your kind and loving eyes.
But I have no pearls, no diamonds,
As I’m sure you’re well aware
So instead I’ll give you Couture panties,
to show my love and care.
